Player
of the Year Scoring System
PokerBling bases
its Player of the Year scoring system on three criteria: Place
finished at a tournament final table, amount of the tournament
buy-in, and number of tournament entrants. Each criteria is
given a point value, after which the values are multiplied
to arrive at a final score.
Final Table Finish: 1st
= 120 pts, 2nd = 100 pts, 3rd = 80 pts, 4th = 60 pts, 5th =
50 pts, 6th = 40 pts, 7th = 30 pts, 8th = 20 pts, 9th = 10 pts.
There are no points awarded for finishing out of
the final table. Tournament
Buy-in: $5 = 1 pt, $10 = 2 pts, $20 = 3 pts, $50
= 4 pts.
Number of
Entrants: Total number of entrants x 0.03
Example:
If you finished 6th in a $10 buy-in tournament with
125 entrants, you would receive 40 x 2 x 3.75 = 300 pts. (3.75
= 125 entrants x 0.03)
